I know this is from November 5th, so I’m late to the party. I think it’s not only what is Miu Miu doing right, but what are those other brands doing wrong?
The answer, churning out uninspired collections that look reminiscent of something one might find on DHGate or Canal Street…at least the accessories do. Yesterday I went on the Fendi website and I couldn’t believe how boring and uncreative everything was and for thousands of dollars. Fashion for a long time has been about individuality and now brands churn out boring crap every season that is more expensive with worse quality. That’s why the vintage market is booming and seemingly only Miu Miu and a few others have gotten the memo. Luxury houses also operate like dinosaurs in silos, so it’s not surprising they’re struggling.
