Book Announcement - "Content Strategy for Luxury Brands: The Playbook to Drive Customer Engagement in Any Market"
FSW offers an exclusive first look at a new book from Jessica Quillin, PhD and Bryce Quillin, PhD to be published by Routledge in early 2025.
The Fashion Strategy Weekly team is proud to announce that Routledge will publish a new book, Content Strategy for Luxury Brands: The Playbook to Drive Customer Engagement in Any Market, by luxury strategists Jessica Quillin, PhD, and Bryce Quillin, PhD in early 2025.
The book will give readers a strong foundation in understanding content strategy's role in allowing luxury brands to authentically communicate their brand’s purpose and values, develop deep connections with customers, and ensure that their messaging is reflected dynamically across all of their marketing and social media channels.Â
Luxury brand content requires a specific, attenuated approach because of the unique nature of luxury products, goods, and services. Many brands struggle with keeping content and storytelling consistent and authentic across channels while appealing to global luxury markets with vastly different cultures, values, and content consumption habits, patterns, and preferences. Internally, luxury firms also struggle with managing content and internal communications. When compared with almost any other industry, luxury brands struggle with internal content operations (e.g., the internal planning, management, and oversight of content) due to deeply rooted organizational siloing. This book will address these luxury brand pain points about content and will examine how and why content strategy can bring tailored solutions both for external, consumer-facing content and internal, brand-facing content.
In this book, readers will learn the basics of content strategy from planning and information architecture to content development and management, build journey maps and develop personas for potential customers, and understand various methods for telling impactful stories over and over again.
Once readers are equipped with the basic tools of a content strategist, they will learn how to apply those tools to a wide range of luxury industry applications that will have real-world relevance to their current and future projects.
